What you'll be doing:

·  Design and build applications for the Android platform
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
·  Work closely with students to mentor them and pass on your knowledge
·  Work with outside data sources and APIs
·  Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
·  Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
·  Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency  

What you bring:

·  Passion for development

·  Good communication skills  

Technical skills:

·  3+ years of professional software dev experience building Android apps using Java language
·  Proficiency in Java, Android Studio and using REST APIs
·  Familiarity with CI/CD  

Nice to have:

·  Experience with the TDD approach, doing unit testing, mocking, integration/UI testing, behavior driven testing
·  Familiarity with Kotlin/Flutter/PWA
