Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

TPM is offered within the Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) vertical at Oracle alongside many other products that serve this fast-growing industry.

In conjunction with the Textura Client Services Team, the newly formed Textura Sales Team is uniquely responsible for selling one product – Textura Payment Management. This model will allow you to maintain focus and maximize new sales revenue from the mostly untapped US construction and real estate development markets. You will also collaborate closely with the existing Textura Client Services team and CEGBU sales team on sales opportunities.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a Textura Sales Representative, you will work to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory. You will utilize inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities, manage accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborate with team members in business development, consulting and support to uncover all customer needs and engage other product representatives as needed. Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Travels to customer sites to identify / develop sales opportunities. Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Onsite customer presentation with C-levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals. Liaises with customer contacts to manage customer relationships, identify new opportunities and maximize sales. Team player with strong interpersonal / communication skills. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with customers.

Key responsibilities include

·  Generate revenue by directly selling Textura Payment Management to new general contractors, real estate developers, and other owners / property developers
·  Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to increase sales pipeline
·  Prospect net new accounts to generate a viable pipeline of Textura Payment Management sales opportunities within an assigned territory-based account list
·  Develop and execute sales strategy plans on accounts within assigned territory
·  Conduct TPM sales presentations / demos and customer meetings via web / conference call and onsite
·  Collaborate and partner with assigned Internet Sales Team to pursue qualified leads on > $200k annual recurring revenue deals and provide guidance on
·  Collaborate and partner with TPM Client Services team to close new sales opportunities
·  Collaborate and partner with CEGBU Sales Team to provide and receive new sales opportunities
·  Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in the construction industry
·  Actively participate and provide leadership within industry networking organizations

Skills and Qualifications :

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
·  5-10 years applications sales experience focusing on large, complex strategic accounts
·  Ideal candidates will have experience selling SaaS, Cloud Applications, or similar enterprise applications
·  Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiations skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives and line of business representatives
·  Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and execute upon agreed strategy
·  Value selling (not transactional) experience required
·  Highly motivated, driven, and persistent mode of operation
·  Comfortable presenting to customers via phone / web and in-person
·  Professional written and verbal communication skills
·  Prior software / tech support experience helpful, but not required
·  Construction industry knowledge helpful, but not required
