The primary focus of a Sales Consultant (Pre-sales) is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force

As a Staff Internet Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction, through on-line/in person sales efforts. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations via the internet and/or in person. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Support sales team in online/in-person selling efforts with some supervision. Develop and deliver proposed solution to customers. Approximate percentage of face to face interaction with customers to perform their responsibilities is 10%

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

TPM is offered within the Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) vertical at Oracle alongside many other products that serve this fast-growing industry.

In conjunction with the Textura Client Services Team, the newly formed Textura Sales Team is uniquely responsible for selling one product – Textura Payment Management. This model will allow you to maintain focus and maximize new sales revenue from the mostly untapped US construction and real estate development markets. You will also collaborate closely with the existing Textura Client Services team and CEGBU sales team on sales opportunities.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a Textura Inside Sales Representative, you will work to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory. You will utilize inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities, manage accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborate with team members in business development, consulting and support to uncover all customer needs and engage other product representatives as needed. Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Liaises with customer contacts to manage customer relationships, identify new opportunities and maximize sales. Team player with strong interpersonal / communication skills. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with customers.

Key responsibilities include

·  Generate revenue by directly selling Textura Payment Management to new general contractors, real estate developers, and other owners / property developers
·  Prospect and source new sales leads through construction news, named territory accounts, internal customer database, and cold calling/emailing
·  Create and maintain adequate pipeline of prospective customers to meet / exceed sales targets
·  Conduct discovery calls with prospective customers to qualify sales leads
·  Conduct TPM sales presentations and demos via web and conference call
·  Collaborate and partner with assigned Outside Sales Representatives to provide new qualified leads and jointly close deals > $200k annual recurring revenue
·  Collaborate and partner with TPM Client Services team to close new sales opportunities
·  Collaborate and partner with CEGBU Sales Team to provide and receive new sales opportunities

Skills and Qualifications :

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
·  1-5 years relevant experience successfully selling software systems or related products / services
·  Value selling (not transactional) experience strongly preferred
·  Highly motivated, driven, and persistent mode of operation
·  Comfortable presenting to customers via phone and web
·  Professional written and verbal communication skills
·  Prior software / tech support experience helpful, but not required
·  Construction industry knowledge helpful, but not required
