Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.

As part of the global Cloud Infrastructure Platform Development team, you will be continually challenged and have an opportunity to contribute to solution success every day.

The role includes application administration of the Service Management Jira implementation. You will solve challenging technical problems; identify improvements and work on implementing your recommendations. You will work directly with other cross-functional engineers and business stakeholders to deliver and operate solutions that provide outstanding experiences to our stakeholders with superb reliability and performance.

This is a key role within the Cloud Infrastructure Platform Development team with strong emphasis in building solutions to support the delivery of Oracle Cloud Services. We are looking for an extremely capable JIRA administrator who has a strong background in architecting enterprise-scale, robust implementations, including customization through add-ons and scripting. The individual will be hands-on in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of multiple JIRA projects.

Qualified applicants will have a strong background in computer science or similar field, a basic understanding of operations processes such as incident, problem, and change management, and a keen understanding of high volume and real-time systems. We are looking for a team member that is a self-starter, committed, has a strong work ethic, and approaches challenges with a positive attitude.

In this role you will need to:

·  Administrate and customize JIRA projects, dashboards, and filters.
·  Customize implementations through the use of add-ons, scripting, and ReST API integration.
·  Apply all areas of configuration management, including planning, identification, change control, and validation of JIRA project implementations.
·  Collaborate on requirements; work with various stakeholders to design and improve solution offerings.
·  Work closely with other engineering team members on the reliability and performance of solutions.
·  Collaborate in the design of solutions and systems to ensure requirements are met and exceeded.
·  Teach others; help in developing the overall skill and proficiencies of the team as a whole.
·  Develop keen domain knowledge; understanding the data, metrics, business use cases, and value it provides. Be proud of what we have built and assist in socializing the value of our solutions.
·  Work in an environment using Agile and DevOps practices.
·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
·  Preference for demonstrated practical experience in basic scripting such as Groovy, Python, and/or Ruby.
·  Expertise on enterprise-scale Atlassian product implementations, including complex workflows, integration schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
·  Track record of delivering assigned projects on time with high quality using agile, devOps, and SRE practices and toolsets.
·  Good written and oral communication skills.
·  Enjoys solving difficult problems.
·  Continuously evolve your skillset through trainings, implementation reviews, project engagements and industry awareness.

The candidate will have the following:
