The placement is working in our Systems Support team, help customers understand how Oracle solutions applications can help them run their business better and provide technical support in times of need.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Working alongside a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing field system support including hardware break fix, maintenance and product installation on customer sites, interfacing with Dispatch, Logistics and Technical Domains in accordance with activities set out in the on-site Action Plan.

You will ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and Service Level Agreements (SLA's) met through effective delivery of technical support and service programs by interfacing between customer and the Domains.

You will proactively help to find problem resolution through use of system level diagnostics and escalation procedures. Understanding service processes and being able to identify and solve a wide range of problems will ensure your success.

Oracle solutions help our customers to grow revenues, cut costs and manage risk. The depth and breadth of our solutions is considerable. These solutions are enabled by many things including the cloud, mobile, analytics, social, the internet of things and big data.

Your attitude will make and break the success of the placement. There will be challenges to overcome and you must be determined that you will make the placement a success. You need to be hungry and driven to learn as much and contribute as much as you can. It's very important that you understand both sides of the coin - LEARN as much as possible, CONTRIBUTE as much as possible. If you have this mindset you will be a big success.

What training will I be given?

Shortly after your arrival, you will join a training boot camp within one of our data centres, getting you prepared for the year ahead. We are also constantly running training for everyone in the team and you will have the opportunity to follow this varied training as well. You will be assigned a mentor and together you will build a development plan combining training and coaching to rapidly ramp you up.
