Job description

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

Position Description

We are building a next generation Solution Engineering organization with innovation centers (known as Cloud Solution Hubs) in the United States, located in across four major cities in the US. The mission of these hubs is to build and engineer cutting-edge solutions for our customers around who are looking to innovate using cloud-based technologies and other emerging areas around artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, cybersecurity, virtual/augmented/mixed realities and many other exciting areas of innovations. Our mission is simple, we build new and innovative technology solutions for real world problems that our customers face. And therefore, we are seeking people who share that spirit of using technology to innovate and solve big problems, and then share those solutions effectively internally & externally.

We're looking for passionate people who can drive operations in our cloud solution hubs with a keen eye on KPIs and operational reporting. We are seeking someone who is analytical, and diligent in following up on activities/tasks. Demonstrated project / program management experience. Should have strong interest in Communications, Enablement, Program Planning & execution, Content creation & editing, Reporting, Executive communications, and Evangelization of tools & processes. Must be a strong team player and adept at working with multiple stakeholders and working against tight deadlines. You should be comfortable working collaboratively with Solution Engineers, Sales, Product Management, and Marketing.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Understand key operational metrics and assist with regular reporting across teams

· Shadow a team (or groups) to increase operational efficiency and reporting

· Project and program management. Develop and implement project plans; determine requirements, deliverables, resources, timing/milestones, and communicate findings and project status clearly

· Ability to deliver high-quality professional presentations

· Mange internal events and related operational tasks

· Support team with assigned tasks on projects

· Ability to support demand generation campaigns, plan and execute internal promotional events, hack-a-thons, etc.

· Able to generate internal newsletters, community events, general communications, etc.

· Possesses excellent verbal and written skills.

· Candidate should be social, friendly and comfortable in working individually or in a team environment. Independent, and self-motivated.

· Plan for needed training in the solution hubs for solution engineers

· Should be self-motivated and diligent in meeting all deadlines.

Ideal Qualifications:

· 1-3 years of experience in operations

· Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent written and verbal communications skills

· A good mix of analysis and presentation skills is desired

· A high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm and commitment

· Managing internal events, community events, cross team communications

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques

· Working experience with confluence & JIRA is a plus

· Demonstrated Project / program management skills

· Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration from an accredited college/university
