Job description

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities. Manage online advertising relationship and local social media agencies.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8+ years relevant work experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play an influential role on the Oracle Marketing Cloud Digital Marketing team. The Digital Campaign Manager will lead integrated, digital demand generation campaigns for Oracle Marketing Cloud solutions, targeting key personas.

You will work with internal marketing leaders and external agencies to plan, buy, and measure digital media including paid search, paid social, display and syndication. You will lead the execution of media campaigns from beginning to end, guiding stakeholders on best practices, measuring and reporting on performance, and sharing new ideas to improve success. The end goals: generate sales leads and conversions, amplify our brand, and drive traffic to our online platforms.

You will work with our content team to coordinate messaging and supporting assets that maximize pipeline, revenue and awareness for designated campaign focus area. Together you will plan and identify the content and assets to support activities such as online programs, webcasts, call campaigns, and events that map to appropriate target audience and customer buying cycle stage.

Key Responsibilities Include:

·  Develop measurable media goals aligned to overall campaign goals
·  Lead the development/management of effective integrated media plans and buys, focusing on user experience and measurable action
·  Align sales-focused and campaign-focused teams to ensure media planning is integrated across all business needs
·  Educate campaign stakeholders on targeting and media capabilities
·  Meet with internal marketing clients to understand their previous media planning/buying strategies
·  Work closely with preferred media partner and oversee RFP process for new partners
·  Work with marketing leaders to maintain and update media plans; includes budgeting, execution, reporting, optimization and invoices/purchase orders
·  Develop and execute new and effective campaign recommendations across paid search, display, paid social, syndication, etc.
·  Manage targeting and data strategies across all platforms, including leveraging first-party and 3 rd party data segments
·  Monitor overall media performance to evaluate campaign effectiveness, particularly driving opportunities and sales via digital channels, share reports to internal stakeholders and recommend adjustments
·  Stay ahead of industry standards and trends, new media programs and innovative opportunities to reach targets
·  Collaborate with Corporate Marketing, CX Marketing and Product Marketing to improve campaign performance, including looking for opportunities to collaborate or cross-fund campaigns
·  Manage lead-flow and routing for digital campaigns that include registration upload
·  Manage Pay Per Lead (PPL) vendors, performance and execution.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

·  8+ years marketing experience, preferably in Software/Technology marketing
·  Minimum 3 years’ experience in media planning and managing Pay Per Lead programs including measuring for success.
·  Digital/mobile/social media advertising savvy, with proven track record of success
·  Experience working with DMPs
·  Experience using standard media planning and research tools including Omniture, BlueKai, TradeDesk, and 3 rd party data providers
·  Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills; ability to communicate media strategy and plans to executives throughout the business
·  History of working with media agencies to oversee the planning/buying process
·  Experience working in a sales organization supporting lead generation
·  Experience establishing media metrics/KPIs, performing data analysis to improve results
·  Able to construct high converting CX/UX journeys

Travel Component: Minimal. Approx. 10% travel within the United States and Canada may be necessary to successfully fill this role.

Position Location: East Coast preferred. Role is based in North America and requires close coordination with virtual team.
