Job description

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

The Customer Experience (CX) Principal Sales Consultant is a presales solution resource which provides strategic direction and is a trusted advisor for upmarket clients in the Communications Industry. The ideal candidate will utilize past communications industry knowledge and thought leadership, in concert with Oracle Cloud CX products to facilitate transformational solutions and eliminate pain points for a client's business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations and/or demonstrations using benchmarks; creating a persuasive point of view to educate clients thus closing the gap between the opportunity and the sale.

As a CX Principal Sales Consultant you will be the expert responsible for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Our team leverages expertise and knowledge from all our team members; this role provides you the ability to act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants based on the value you bring to the team. Strong focus on building both internal and external business relationships. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle CX presentations and demonstrations to Upmarket clients in the Communications Industry. Leads all aspects of the presales technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients by creating industry specific solutions which drive efficiencies and long-term business transformation.

You will take the lead as a CX content contributor, individually and as a part of the Communications Industry team, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in Customer Experience. 5-10 years of technical sales, presales, and/or solution engineering/consulting experience. 10-15 years business experience with relevant information technology, cloud-based applications, telecommunications and/or 5G wireless technologies. Must possess the ability to discover, design and develop solutions with complex/advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS competition, as well as current events related to the Communications Industry. Demonstrated project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed (up to 50% of the time). Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, advanced Graduate degree highly desirable in a science or technical field.
