Job description

Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.

Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit and incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Two years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Five years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.

The job requires working with SMEs to scope the right content and present it in a fun and interesting manner, which makes for a great learning experience.

Responsibilities

·  Use extensive writing knowledge to shape content into the right structure and voice
·  Create learner-centric content that is relevant and easy to read and understand
·  Manage content development from start to finish, from the initial outline to the finished product, through rounds of revisions

Education & Experience

·  BS/MS in Education, English literature, Instructional Design
·  3+ Years of experience


Knowledge and Skills



· Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)

· Excellent flair for writing documentation, training content

· Ability to write engaging and interactive content

· Should be able to quickly grasp new technologies

· Excellent problem solver and team player
