An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Consulting Cloud Environment Manager – Oracle Consulting

Location – flexible around any UK Hub

The role of the Cloud Environment Manager is an active and rewarding part of the UK and Ireland Technology Consulting team. The Environment Manager acts as the point of contact between the customer, Oracle Consulting and Oracle Public Cloud and/or Oracle Managed Cloud Services. As such, the environment manager will be responsible for liaising with project workstreams to produce the environment strategy to support the project. The environment manager will also be the contact point for non-Oracle environments which need to interface with the Oracle cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Collating demand from the project workstreams
• Producing the environment strategy / approach
• Creating the environment plan and maintaining it as a living document throughout the project
• Defining / Managing the Access management policy and administration (may be delegated to owning workstream)
• Fusion security console administration, in collaboration with functional teams
• Communication with project workstreams of cloud service events:
o Maintenance
o Environment refreshes
o Outages
o Updates
• Input into the release management process
• Managing service entitlements for SaaS, PaaS and IaaS environments
• Be an advocate for best practice in managing cloud services

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies and Background

• Candidates will be educated to degree level and ideally have at 5+ years proven delivery experience
• Experience in Oracle's current Cloud Services is highly desirable
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including management of remote teams
• Able to perform complex problem solving and should be comfortable working according to company policies and processes
• Good business analysis and strong technical skills
• Experience in working as part of an external/internal virtual team or alone as required by priorities
• The ability to work in a collaborative and energetic environment with other technology and business disciplines
• Experienced in Oracle Methodologies i.e., AIM, CDM, OUM, TCM
• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to assimilate, evaluate and solve problems in a structured way at all times.
• Energetic and enthusiastic approach to technology, personal management and building customer relationships
• Willingness to travel as this is a key requirement of the role
• A current Driving Licence and full access to a car is essential, and the candidate must be flexible in working location
