Job description

The Role

We are looking for a creative and energetic person to help execute our Marketing Strategy across a whole variety of channels.

Key responsibilities
• Build out our Social Media presence across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more!
• Help organise Oddbox events (fairs, festivals and other industry events)– you would often be the face of Oddbox on these, so you’d get a chance to interact with many of our lovely customers!
• Be the pillar of our content strategy execution – write our blog posts, emails and articles on behalf of Oddbox but also – take some photos, make videos and other fun things for our social media and website
• You’ll do lots of other things – big and small – while assisting the marketing team in developing and executing the Oddboxmarketing strategy.

Essential skills and characteristics

• Amazing organisation skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Some experience in marketing, preferably in e-commerce
• Focus on getting things done and delivering results
• Happy to constantly learn new things, sometimes figure things out on your own with the help of Dr Google and Professor YouTube
• Confident and happy to speak to new people all the time
• Drive and entrepreneurial spirit – we are a hugely ambitious bunch and we’ve got amazing stuff in the pipeline, however as every start-up, we do all this with little resources and budget, so you need to be happy to get your hands dirty every once in a while!
It would be nice if you:
• Run your own blog, vlog or you’ve built an impressive insta following and/or
• Love food, cooking and healthy lifestyle and/or
• Know your way around Google Analytics and understand what performance marketing is all about and/or
• Are a bit friendly with excel and have done basic data analysis tasks in the past

Other details
Start date: ASAP
• Compensation –competitive, commensurate on experience
• Duration of role – Full time
• Location – Our office/warehouse in Mitcham, South West London
• In addition there will be the opportunity to man stalls at events, fairs and festivals as and when required. You will be compensated travel expenses for these.
