Alcon is currently seeking a Technical Associate III in the Manufacturing Technical Operations division located in Lake Forest, CA. The Technical Associate III will be responsible for the assembly, test, troubleshoot, repair, inspection, and quality test of one or more Surgical Instrument products within the Repair Shop in the Technical Services organization.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Routine and repetitive production involving electronic, mechanical, electro mechanical, assembly within full-scale production manufacturing operations
• Must follow GMP and established procedures to perform daily jobs
• Create work orders, document the work, and complete the Device History Record kept in the company Management Systems
• Perform multiple tasks independently or on an assigned team

Minimum requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of electronics/mechanical experience or education preferred
• Existing knowledge of the Repair Shop environment, procedures and processes is preferred
• Ability to pass all job-specific training or certifications required for core tasks or specialized assignments (which may require additional training at our ITC location)
• Team oriented
• Self-organizational skills
• No prior experience required
• Candidates with assembly, test, troubleshoot, repair, inspection, and quality experience of surgical instrumentation will be given preference
