•Performs a range of involved administrative and secretarial duties and administrative projects for su-pervisor(s) under limited supervision.
•Requires the use of independent judgment in carrying out and coordination of duties within practices and procedures.
•Exposure to confidential data requires considerable use of tact, integrity, discretion and judgment.
•Works independently with no instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given for new activities and special projects.
•Relieves supervisor(s) of some administrative detail. Refers only unusually complex issues to supervisor(s).
•Receives and screens telephone calls, letters and/or visitors for supervisor.
•Routes or answers routine and non-routine inquiries and obtains and furnishes information within departmental and company policy.
•Schedules appointments and maintains supervisor’s calendar.
•Arranges meetings.
•Administers most matters in the absence of supervisor, including verbal and written approvals on urgent matters.
•Organizes and expedites flow of work through supervisor’s office.
•Initiates follow-up action.
•Organizes and maintains supervisor’s correspondence and records, following up on pending matters with limited direction.
•Sets up and administers filing systems.
•Prepares letters, memorandums and reports, gathering, summarizing and analyzing data.
•Collects an presents data to supervisor for projects and meetings.
•Drafts correspondence for supervisor’s final approval.
•Organizes and prepares complex documents requiring the integration of multiple office technology and software applications.
•Independently administers ad hoc or annual projects within company policy.
•Assists in the formulation and administration of departmental budgets and assists in the strategic planning process.
•May translate complex written and verbal communications in at least one language other than English.
•May conduct legal research and prepare legal documentation.
