Reporting to the Market Access Manager, the Market Access Associate will collaborate with Scientific Affairs to ensure that we achieve the formulary and 3rd Party Listings required to support our sales efforts. He will work closely with the Marketing Product Managers to effectively prepare for product launches. He will ensure that our pricing strategy is optimal and competitive. He will review formulary decisions and evaluate impact on Sandoz.

Summary of tasks:

Work closely with Scientific Affairs to ensure required Sales/Marketing documentation in support of Formulary Listing is available in timely fashion. Monitor provincial formulary updates and evaluate impact on Sandoz. Maintain formulary listing database current. Develop monthly formulary update reports;
Market analysis of competitive pricing and evaluation if pricing position must be modified. Review and evaluation of formulary price adjustments. Document impact analysis and decisions. Issue price changes in accordance with sandoz Policies. Maintain pricing database current. Work closely with Customer Service to ensure that pricing data in SAP and price lists are current and accurate;
Gather competitive intelligence in support of pricing and reimbursement strategy. Prepare pricing and reimbursement documentation to support strategy for new product launches;
Issue communications to internal and external clients regarding formulary listings and pricing changes. Inform provincial governments of product shortages that may affect their reimbursement plans. Inform provincial governments of product discontinuationsin a timely manner to maintain product listings current.

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Science or marketing or related field;
One to three to five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industry;
Open for a recent University graduate who is eager to learn and be coached;
Comfortable in multitasking environment;
Flexible & agile to work on various projects/initiatives;
Detail-oriented and able to manage changing priorities;
Able to work with strict deadlines.
