The Ophthalmology Franchise seeks a motivated individual to provide support for an ongoing development program for the treatment of retinal diseases.
• The main thrust of the assignment will be to conduct literature research and interpretation in support of evaluating emerging data and potential future indications.
• The intern may support development of materials for Advisory Boards with specialists in the field.

Key “Must Have” Competencies/Experiences:
• Adept at identifying and using various data sources in the healthcare/science fields
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Preferred Competencies/Experiences:
• MS Office skills preferred.

Minimum requirements

To be considered for an internship, the following requirements apply- in addition to any others specified with the job description:

• Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited College or University
• Ideal candidate would be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet timelines
• Interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple functions
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint
• Team player with excellent customer focus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be available to work a minimum of 12 week, full time
