We're currently looking for a Mechanical Controls Design Development Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Responsibilities :
·  Perform engineering tasks related to chassis mechanical controls system design & development.
·  Mechanical controls include shift by wire, shifters, shifter cables, accelerator pedals and brake pedals.
·  Design, test and development planning, data analysis, report writing, engineering drawing checking, project management, supplier management, and plant visits.May include the following:
·  Conduct research to develop, plan, and design new or improved schedules, processes, products or systems.
·  Develop quality improvement strategies, systems and processes and coordinate testing of products or equipment.
·  Devise processes and procedures for manufacturing operations.
·  Schedule and plan work to meet completion dates and technical specifications.
·  Draft, review, and revise blueprints or engineering specifications.
·  Collect and analyze data and prepare written reports on findings and conclusions.
·  Coordinate component supplier activities.
·  May include project management.
