Posting Description

The GM of Sales Performance & Marketing is responsible for revenue and profit generation and the operational performance of the company's national network of automotive parts and product sales points. Provides strategy, leadership and management of the organization's national field personal and corporate marketing teams. Develops and provides oversight of the company's team of Market Area Managers that support the operational performance of the company's product sales points. Manages sales point market representation including establishment new sales points in selected markets. Creates short-term and long-term marketing strategies, develops and executes multi-level marketing and promotional strategies to drive revenue growth in regional markets.

Job Functions

1. Overall Revenue and P & L responsibility for the company's part sales channel including development of annual revenue forecast and operating budget. Plans and executes department budgets including capital expenditure requirements.
2. Responsible for establishment and sales performance of 20+ initial sales points and expansions of the network over time. Conducts market analysis studies to determine optimal sales point locations. Manages third party vendors on sales point openings and installation of template facilities.
3. Responsible for managing and developing a field organization of 10+ Market Area Managers (MAMs) located in major markets across the US. Responsible for field effectiveness through hiring, development and training, and KPI measurement. Conduct frequent meetings with field organization MAM team to execute business plans and drive sales point performance. Conduct frequent management meetings with MAMs and sales point managers.
4. Market area representation planning including identification and selection of sales point locations. Set-up of sales point “template” facilities in selected markets including hiring and training staff. Development and execution of mid-term (3 year) and long-term (5 year+) market representation plan including operating and capital expense requirements.
5. Create sales and product information training programs for sales point Managers and Sales Associate team. Provide operating guidelines and oversight for staffing, hiring, and onboarding of sales point Managers and Sales Associates. Manage compensation and performance incentives to incentivize sales point employee performance.
6. In collaboration with Field and sales point Managers develop annual sales point business plans, KPIs, and performance targets. Provide monthly sales point performance reporting to company executives.
7. Develop and execute a strategic brand marketing plan and creation of annual budgets. Guide and direct the marketing team responsible for creating and executing the brand marketing strategies and promotional plans. Execution of multi-tier marketing and CRM through sales points to build broad brand awareness and generate revenue.
8. Development of leading sales and marketing practices and CRM strategies to generate loyalty with sales point repair facility customers.
9. Work with company Marketing and Product Managers to define, design, and execute product-specific promotional and marketing strategies and programs.
10. Conduct monthly performance reports with company Executives.
