Job description
Position Title
Facility Engineer
Mission and Main Objectives
Provide support for both current and new model production within the Powertrain Engineering section.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
• Specification of new and modified facilities
• Creation and management of schedules
• Management and control of contractor works
• Management of budgets - Revenue and Capital
• Machine safety improvements including safety device upgrades, safety matrices, facility risk assessments etc
• Creation and management of obsolescence and refurbishment activities
• Implement ideas to improve OEE
• Support productivity ideas and review machine concepts
• Provide technical support to Maintenance Dept.

• HNC or equivalent
• Planning, Schedule & Project Management
• Ability to work as part of a cross functional team
• Knowledge of current European Machine Legislation & Standards
• Strong Electrical & PLC Background
• Analytical & logical approach to problem solving
• Good PC skills
• Good communication & negotiation skills
