As our Associate Women's Apparel Designer , you'll support the design team in creating Women's apparel products with the Converse consumer in mind. Assistance in designs may include original concepts, selection of appropriate color & materials and modifications to ensure manufacturability. You will contribute to elevating the consumer experience through superior product craft and push the limits of Design. You will aid on designs to create cohesive collections. You will assist in execution of all product details including: construction detail, color, form, style, detail, fit, performance, graphic application, trim, etc. You will contribute to seasonal creative strategy for products and lines and clearly communicate changes to ensure timely completion of each project. You will be responsible for building and maintaining healthy cross-functional relationships in development and product merchandising and build matrix relationships outside of the immediate team. You will share process and product finishing knowledge across the category and design function to evolve creative skills. You will demonstrate an understanding of products, product development process and the specific markets in which Converse does business.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in a design related field and 3 years directly relevant work experience in design

· Understanding of the Converse women's consumer

· Experience with apparel product

· Knowledge of Lifestyle brands

· Knowledge of fashion and design trends

· Must be computer literate using Macintosh computer design applications

· Strong communication skills, including meetings and presentations, and ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
