Job description

As our Quality Assurance Process Auditor, you'll support Manufacturing and Engineering in an effort to assure the production and shipment of quality products. You'll audit processes to assure effective operation and control and to verify compliance with established standard practices and lead efforts to implement nonconforming material resolution steps. You'll also support manufacturing in identifying root cause and corrective actions to prevent further production of undesirable product. You'll perform material and product evaluations and record, organize, analyze and report results. This opportunity also involves compiling and analyzing data to detect trends and identify the need for quality improvement for both manufacturing processes and Metrological equipment operation. In addition, you'll develop procedures, work instructions and product visual standards.

Desired profile

• High School diploma with 2 years' experience or any combination of education and experience in quality assurance, statistics, numerical analysis or problem solving
• 2 years' experience using measurement equipment, generating and organizing quality data for quality decision-making
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Skills in concisely communicating technical data and instructional information both verbally and in writing
• Experience with problem solving, multi-tasking and training others to complete job-related tasks
• Experience creating training aids, work instructions and technical reports is preferred
• Ability to operate hand measurement and laboratory test equipment
• Strong math skills, including statistical terms and basic analysis
• Strong use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software packages
• Thorough knowledge of SPC, gauge R&R, basic statistical techniques and database management
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes
• Visual acuity, including color vision
• Ability to move throughout the manufacturing area for extended periods of time
• Experience working in a plastics environment is a plus
• D2 Shift: Friday-Sunday, and every other Monday. 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Ability to train within the first few weeks on a different shift
