Job description

The North America Distribution Center Learning Delivery Lead is responsible for the delivery of competency based process and systems training programs in Nike's North America Distribution Centers to include Shelby and rest of network. As a Learning Delivery Lead, you will manage the Functional Learning Delivery Network supporting all NADCs. You will shape and refine, as needed, the learning delivery/execution strategy and ensure that it is aligned with the needs of the business. You will lead the selection, development, certification, evaluation, and management of the DC Trainer Networks and ensure that training is executed in a consistent and repeatable manner. You will own the creation, publication, and communication of all training calendars. You will manage the NADC functional curricula database and related content in Nike's Learning Management System and SharePoint sites. You will manage all delivery logistics in partnership with the Learning Network Coordinator to ensure delivery excellence (room reservations, key training communications, class materials, classroom and equipment set up, etc). You will manage all class enrollment, attendance, and assessment records and provide routine reporting of results to management--- including recommendations for improvement and action plans where appropriate. You will regularly communicate with NADC Leadership, Operations, Engineering, Lean/Process Excellence, DC Trainers and members of the Instructional Design/Development team regarding process improvements, training material changes, evaluations, new training needs, etc. You'll regularly collaborate with NikeU counterparts. You will coach and mentor DC Trainers as it relates to role with ensuring delivery excellence. You will perform other duties as assigned.

Desired profile

Requirements for the position include:
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years relevant work experience
• 2 additional years in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years managing the delivery of Training programs
• 2+ years project management experience
• Experience within a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred
• Broad business exposure and direct experience in implementation of business change and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to use sound decision making and problem solving/resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - with ability to tailor message to audience
• Instructional Design skills/knowledge preferred
• High competency with PC, MS Office – Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project
• Strong analytical, investigative, interpersonal, written, and communicative skills
• Excellent organizational influence and critical thinking skills
• Strong team orientation, confidentiality, and ability to influence
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in driving consensus across teams
• Available to work flexible schedule when needed to accommodate all shifts in all DCs
• Ability to translate technical information to non-users
