PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for all aspects of the Information Systems (I.S) Applications Group functions as they relate to the development and support of the SAP ERP package and in-house applications in support of business requirements. Specific focus areas are Manufacturing, Shipping, and Master Data functions.

He or she will assist the organization in identifying business process performance gaps relative to World Class practices, with the ultimate goal of enhancing organizational efficiency to dramatically improve customer satisfaction while better leveraging the existing assets.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

LINE: Reports to Information Systems Applications Development Manager
STAFF: Interfaces with all departments relative to their I.S./SAP needs.

AREAS ofRESPONSIBILITY

Provide development recommendations and support of technologies being leveraged in support of our customers. Technologies supported include SAP, commercial and locally developed Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications, reports, interfaces and integration points.

Support of our established SAP PP module, maximizing our effectiveness with:

· Our ABC inventory management programs
· Improved Forecasting and scheduling management
· Knowledge of capacity planning and 3rd party detailed scheduling tools
· Strong understanding of master data logic and data extraction (ABAP query) tools

Master Data Design Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

· Improvements related to improved shop floor paperwork
· Improvements related to the Engineering system to SAP interface

Quality System Interface

· Responsible for shop floor, SAP, and quality system interfaces
· Elimination of redundant or parallel functionality

Provide training and knowledge transfer to other members of the Application Development team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum of four-year degree.
· Minimum of two years of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment including some configuration experience.
· SAP functional expertise expected, technical ability helpful.
· Thorough knowledge of information system theories, practices, and technical concepts relative to business systems.
· Must be proficient with Excel, Word and other Microsoft software products. Database querying capabilities in an Oracle environment is desired, but not required.
· Strong analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Independent and trustworthy.
