Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Responsible for reviewing allocation and ranging instructions and the input of the planned ranging
• Responsible for reviewing performance by store/region/country and MG/profit block/key styles/theme, undertaking ad-hoc analysis of the above and reporting back to the Assistant Branch Merchandiser with any findings.
• Make stock and distribution suggestions ensuring optimized levels to help maximize sales and profit.
• Prepare for the weekly distribution review - review the distribution forecast and intake plan. Discuss appropriate actions (initial increase, grade change etc) and best sellers, suggesting and taking actions on new and existing styles
• Attend other appropriate weekly team and BMD meetings
• Highlight best & worst performing styles, understand the causes and propose appropriate actions
• Monitor size availability and sell through by size, suggesting and taking action where necessary
• Conduct store visits with the Assistant Branch Merchandiser with particular focus on stock allocation levels and product mix/grades
• Build new stores and relocating store stock packages to set plan, highlighting any issues. Also help complete other work for new openings, concepts, closures, range introductions/exits, etc.
• Attending product meetings where possible – contribute opportunities where possible
