Major Responsibilities:
• Lead and drive Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) within the Business Unit or as assigned within the factory.
• Lead, train and coach GSTD’s, BDA’s and any other problem-solving tool as required.
• Responsible to lead the business unit to achieve KPI goals in Safety, Quality, Asset Intensity (AI) and Delivery.
• Develop and own strategic and tactical plans including OMP activities/milestones, AI Optimizers, IPA and other programs needed to achieve business unit goals.
• Coach and develop the production team capabilities and methods to exceed business objectives and future requirements
• Establish, develop and lead the Autonomous Work Group (AWG) to meet AWG Step requirements on time as per the TPM Implementation plan.
• Understand and represent all regulations, and NWNA policies, procedures and work instructions; apply fairly and consistently
• Create and improve standard procedures for Safety, Quality, NCE and other standards and ensure daily compliance.
• Excellence in Communication to deliver key messages, plans and objectives
• Investigate, develop and implement action plans to address failure root causes, waste and continuously seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop personal competency in problem solving and work to achieve DMAIC Yellow Belt certification.
• Owner of Labour variance model and cost controls for business unit
• Develop and manage constructive business relationships with both internal and external customers
• Lead and develop Line Mechanics assigned to the business unit by setting objectives, coaching and supporting MWG and Maintenance activities/goals.
• Leadership for the NWNA Safety & Environmental systems, procedures and work instructions, i.e. PPE, LOTO controls, WHMIS, etc. Show leadership in the corrective and preventative actions for safety and environmental improvements for the business unit.
• Be a key member of the AM Pillar and any other assigned NCE Pillar, as applicable.
• Lead incident investigations, and corrective and preventative actions for the business unit (s).
• Provide flexibility and availability to meet and support business objectives by own initiative and when requested
• Provide support to Shift Resources as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• College or Engineering degree in a technical discipline is Required
• Previous People leadership experience in a manufacturing setting is required
• Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills

Hours of work are varied and flexible to meet business needs.

Ownership of assigned business unit from blowmold to wrapper. Ownership of the delivery of results, cost/eliminating waste while maintaining high standards for Safety and Quality.
