Pensions Systems Developer

Gatwick based

Salary between £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience + car allowance, private health, potential bonus + other fantastic benefits
Here at Nestle UK&I we are delighted to be recruiting for a brand new role as a Pensions Systems Developer based at our Head Office in Gatwick. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking to continue developing their already established systems development expertise in a pensions environment. This role reports directly into our Head of Change & Improvement within our Pensions team.

What can you expect?
You'll be responsible for undertaking all system development work to support the successful delivery of all our change and improvement projects for all things aligned to the UK&I pension funds.

You'll also:
· Play a pivotal role in scoping out project definitions whilst setting out any limitations and alternatives that might be needed.
· Govern the change control process including providing clear version controls and component protection.
· Provide clear impact analysis on any proposed changes to assess the feasibility of these changes ahead of any work starting.
· Pro-actively maintain reference documents for all our system components that need to be amended in-house.
· Deliver flawless software changes on time, in full and in line with our quality standards scoped out in the project document.
· Facilitate clear communication and training plans for the pension's team whether that be through workshops or coaching to ensure changes are implemented successfully.
· Clearly identify and monitor any risk associated with the project changes.

Who are we looking for?

As the successful candidate, you'll be able to demonstrate your extensive system development experience with a track record of delivering amended Compendia components for your stakeholders. You'll have a proven track record of database interrogation using Oracle or SQL and MS Access and Excel data manipulation skills. If you are PRINCE 2 qualified great, but this is not essential.

You'll be able to demonstrate effective prioritisation skills in what can often be a pressured environment, being able to react to projects adjustments effectively coupled with your ability to provide detailed value adding insight and challenge when designing new solutions. You'll know the importance of being able to communication complex requirements and issues clearly across a wide range of stakeholder, effectively engaging them to come on the journey with you. And lastly, you'll be able to flex your style to work collaboratively to ensure we deliver on our goals and aspirations for change.
