Operationa Buyer for Raw and Packaging Materials – Factory Surčin (m/f)

Main purpose of this position is to ensure supply of raw and packaging materials to production whilst make sure that relevant working capital targets are met.

What would be your main responsibilities on this position?
· Creating an optimized replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18 month horizon, as well as identifying possible problems/opportunities for the factory
· Monitoring supply signals through the use of Material Requirement Planning purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times and required quantities are correct and finally creating purchase orders and ensuring their fulfillment by the supplier
· Monitor vendor performance and claim process with vendors according to claim procedure
· Manage blocked and parked invoices
· Managing directly with the defined supplier the delivery of materials
· Defining the stock policy and management approach
· Identification of practical issues concerning material supply and demand for raw and packaging materials

Profile of the candidate:

· University degree in technical sciences
· 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
· Highly developed analytical and communication skills
· Strong focus on continuous improvement within the scope of assigned job
· Thinking outside the boundaries to solve a problem
· Enthusiastic about developing leadership skills
· Successful in dealing with uncertain and unpredictable situations
· Structured and clear priorities
· Strong result focus, initiative and proactive cooperation
· Advanced user of MS Office package
· Advanced knowledge of English language
· Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

Position is situated in Surčin factory and reports to Factory Supply Chain Manager .
