Occupational Health Advisor – 3 days per week*

Tutbury based with some travel*

9 months Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Salary up to £39,000 depending on experience, Potential Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our Occupational Health team based at our Tutbury factory. This role is a FTC for a period of 9 months working 3 days per week, with some travel to other factory sites. As the successful individual you'll play a key role in developing and supporting Nestlé to deliver a best in class Occupational Health Service for our people and the business.

What can you expect?

Well where do we start… You'll provide comprehensive support to our people, line managers and the business as a whole, ensuring a proactive approach to managing occupational health issues is achieved by promoting great health and wellness.

Reporting to the Head of Occupational Health the main areas of responsibility in this role include:

· Working closely with line managers and HR to proactively manage cases of long term illness, recurrent short term absence, and support return to work programmes.
· Undertaking fitness to work assessments including audiometry, respiratory function and safety critical medicals.
· Providing great occupational health advice to line managers and HR.
· Facilitating on-site clinics across our different manufacturing sites.
· Assisting with our call help line for internal stakeholders and customers as and when needed.

Who are we looking for?

As the successful candidate you will be a highly motivated self-starter, who can work both as a member of a dedicated Occupational Health Team and also work independently as you will be the key point of contact, providing a comprehensive occupational health service to a designated area of the business. You'll also:

· Be a Registered Nurse with proven experience in Occupational Health, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
· Hold an Occupational Health qualification to Diploma/Degree or equivalent level (Part 3).
· Skilled in complex case management without referral to an occupational health physician
· Have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
· Have exemplary communication skills, able to deal with staff at all levels, and have the influencing skills to obtain management buy-in.
· Hold a full driving license
· Be willing to travel (please note this will be planned travel in advance to specific sites).

*We are flexible on which 3 days are worked each week (Monday to Friday) and travel will be dependent on business needs but it will likely be 1 day out of the 3 days each week.
