Customer Business Manager – Convenience
Home based with travel to Gatwick
Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience + Company Car + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
The Waters Category is forecasted to continue growing at +8% in the UK through the next decade. Nestle Waters is a key contributor to this growth and a clear market leader with a winning portfolio of products, including San Pellegrino, Aqua Pana, Perrier, Buxton and Nestle Pure Life.
What can you expect?
The primary scope of this role is to manage and develop our Symbol Convenience accounts, including Spar, Nisa & Booker Retail Partners.
Acting as a role model for the wider business, you will manage the relationship between Nestle Waters UK (NWUK) and our Symbol Convenience customers at strategic and tactical levels in order to drive profit, volume, value growth and market share for NWUK brands.
Additionally you will be required to work cross functionally with our supply and finance team to ensure accuracy in forecasting as well and with the Category and Marketing team providing tactical support to business planning and execution with all customers.
You will also be expected to keep abreast of competitor activity and market intelligence within the sector.
This role will support the Out of Home Retail Channel Controller in the delivery and execution of the Channel MBS, ensuring compliance in the delivery of sales, market share and profit.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate should have at least 2-3 years FMCG commercial experience, ideally in the Convenience channel.
Prior knowledge and experience of developing and agreeing Joint Business Plans with customers will be a distinct advantage.
We are looking for an ability to understand and make decisions based on financial data, strong interpersonal and communication skills and a drive for results.
Candidates will be given a great deal of autonomy and as such should have a ‘can do' attitude and be able to deal with ambiguity, be innovative and self-motivated.
The role will be home based, with a requirement for periodic travel to our Head Office which from September 2018 will be based in Gatwick.
