For our Global SIG Rx organisation, we are currently looking for:

Business Development Associate Manager (M/F)

Based in the Lausanne region of Switzerland, in an innovative and dynamic environment, you will be attached to the Head of Business Development & Licensing and will:

Handle the scouting, mapping, initial triage and presentation of opportunities according to SIG strategy and objectives. Support the exploration and lead the management of selected active BD projects.

Activities and responsibilities :

Sourcing of opportunities

· Monitor all available data sources, identify all information that is relevant to BD priorities and communicate appropriately to stakeholders in BD and SIG.
· Mutual feed of information with the CI team; participate in the preparation of the annual Competition Briefs.
· Target companies and organize planning of participation to key BD events (JP Morgan conference, Bio, other) in liaison with all relevant stakeholders, and participate in some of them.
· Represent the Company

Management of initial evaluation flow

· Internally:
· Closely work with relevant stakeholders to ensure up-to-date picture of external opportunities landscape in key areas of focus.
· Propose and validate initial triage based on strategic priorities.
· Organize and lead Rx BD Evaluation Meetings including agenda, presentations and minutes.
· Provide input and participate in the Scientific Assessment meetings to repre-sent SIG strategy.
· Ensure that database records are made in an appropriate way for own activities as well as specific activities of the Head of BD, Licensing and M&A.
· Externally:
· Coordinate the communication flow with external companies to receive product / company information.
· Ensure set-up of confidentiality agreements (together with the legal department).
· Conduct primary screening and triangulation of information through all available sources.
· Communicate Galderma's evaluation and decision on their proposal to external companies.

Participation in active BD projects led by HO BD, Licensing, and M&A; act as project manager when assigned by HO BDL and M&A – encompassing the following work streams:

· Gathering of relevant information
· Project planning/project events
· Business case preparation/consolidation
· Project team coordination/communication with relevant stakeholders
· Management/governance review preparation
· Project documentation

Monitoring and reporting of Rx BD team activities

· Prepare documents for updates to SIG, HO BDL and M&A, and others as required.

Expected qualifications :

· Advanced degree in a healthcare field or clinical science (Master of Science and/or PhD)
· Specialized training in business development
· Minimum 3 years in Business Development, with demonstrated proficiency in liaising with external partners in a global scope
· Minimum 3 years in dermatology
