Automations Engineer – Nestle Waters

Buxton

Circa £45k + Bonus + Benefits

We are looking for a driven and committed Automation Engineer to join the team in Buxton. At Nestle Waters we have established ourselves as the world leader in the bottled water market and we're committed to bottling the very best waters from the source and straight to our customers via the most advanced and sustainable techniques currently employed.

Purpose of Role:

Key responsibilities of this role will include:
· Provide support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Electricity and Automation (E&A).
· Participate in CAPEX projects in line with corporation guidelines.
· Ensure that all MES and E&A activities enhance business objectives.
· Monitor Product Quality and plant operation/performance while ensuring that people, product safety and environment are never compromised.
· Provide advanced problem solving support to the operations and engineering teams.
· Be committed to ensure an attitude of absolute intolerance for non-compliance
· Ensure that MES-E&A technical expertise and process know-how is developed and maintained.

This role will report into the Maintenance Manager and will form part of the Engineering team on site whilst also having key relationships with SHE, QA and logistics. This is a really exciting role with a great opportunity to lead through change and progress your career people.

You:
The person that will be successful in this role will have experience of working with Siemen's systems, other attributes require are as follows:

· Degree / Diploma in an Engineering discipline (E&A, or similar) – Desired but not necessary.
· Evidence of the ability to lead and coach.
· Ability to motivate, influence and coach people as they work.
· Continuous Improvement knowledge and experience
· Proven experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing with TPM experience
· Ability to motivate, influence and coach people as they work.

In general, we're looking for people who have an active interest in food and drink, and someone who proactively identifies and communicates to engage employees. Someone with a solid understanding of engineering practices as well always striving to continually better themselves and the business.

During 2012, we've developed a state-of-the-art production facility in Buxton and we have centred there our ensuring supply operations. This is a pivotal role to lead the Health & Safety culture, not only within the factory and supply chain, also covering the Market Head Office in Rickmansworth.
