Job Description

Overall purpose of the role: The GMC IT team is in charge of the systems for the Global Market Commodities desk. It covers support, business analyst and development in London, Paris and New York. The GMC activity currently concerns listed and OTC activities (derivatives), on different underlying (oil, precious metals, base metals, CO2). Reporting to the head of GMC IT in London, the candidate will assist him for the following: · Project Management for the major projects for GMC IT team · Planning via Microsoft project both for the team and the main project · Reporting (indicator, budget follow up) · Preparing steering committee's · Help to prepare GMC IT strategy · Implementing changes in GMC SharePoint · Organise Sophis automatic testing (position keeping system) with the business analyst team One of the main projects will be to put in place the new system identified for tasks follow up, project management and source code management and align those 3 components. As part of this project the candidate will also monitor, enhance and maintain the knowledge management through SharePoint The person will work with all the team leaders to ensure the team planning is in line with the strategy of the team and are up to date. He will also help them to put in place key indicators to follow their activities. This role requires: · Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks (use of Jira or/and TFS) · Understanding knowledge management processes (SharePoint or other tools) · Capacity to deals with teams based in Paris, London, New York. · Capacity to organise a project and define a planning Main responsibilities and duties of the role (indicate if any are shared, if so with which other position): All actions where appropriate to this position must be compatible with Natixis carrying out business in accordance with the FCA Principles for Business which are available on the FCA website and detailed in the Natixis UK compliance manual. · Follow up on a number of subjects and projects: Production of dashboards, monthly reports and various planning · Follow-up and aggregation of tasks lists, capacity to ensure specifications, tests and project management follows the methodology in place. · Providing up to date planning on weekly basis for the different teams · Assist the Head of GMC IT to provide and define KPIs for the team

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Key skills, experience and personal attributes required (include problem solving aspects): · Academic degree preferably in technology and/science or similar. · Willing to learn and curious. · Fluent English with proficiency in drafting documents in English is required. · Ability to create dashboards, budgets and presentations (Microsoft Office suite advanced user). · Good communication and coordinating skills. · Strong analytical skills. · Project Management notions · Well organized. · Experience with SharePoint
