Do you love music? Are you a talented, driven writer seeking to discover the world’s best new artists? If so, our team might well be for you.

We are mxdwn, an American music and entertainment magazine. Our UK music newswire is looking for writers to cover a varied spectrum of topics, including music news, festival line-ups and album announcements. We publish news stories for every music genre under the sun, aside from Jazz and Classical. We're looking for true music enthusiasts, that are well aware and knowledgeable in the current state of hip and exciting UK music. The more modern and diverse your music taste, the better.

Ideal applicants will have:

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills

- A keen eye for detail, in both their own work and others’

- Experience or familiarity with WordPress

- Experience and strong interest in music journalism or blogging

- An individual, engaging, and entertaining writing style

This is an unpaid position, but provides the opportunity to publish work for a quality music news publication. As this is a remote opportunity, writers are not required to travel, and can work from home.
