Description:

This role must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and customers and following both verbal and written instructions. The Traffic Coordinator must be organised and be willing to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver an effective administrative function to the tanker logistics department and to ensure that all milk collection data is analysed for accuracy and data reconciliation is completed.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend depot safety meetings

• Monitor and communicate any internal and external excess vehicle weight tolerances to the team leader

• Carry out vehicle audits as detailed by the team leader

• Ensure data capture reports are maintained and issues identified and communicated

• Manage all collection and delivery documentation

• Create booking reference for milk delivery through cargoclix

• Carry a monthly audit on vehicle defect system

• Manage daily backload data schedule

• Accurately report the costs of milk and cream deliveries for internal and external movements

• Completion of reconciliation work in coremilk on a daily basis

• Carry out driver debriefs

• Carry out other duties as instructed by the team leader

• Ideally the Traffic Coordinator must have at least 1 years' experience in a transport team.

The role requires a nights shift patterns of Mon-Fri 7pm to 4am , however flexibility is required to cover operational needs.
