We are currently recruiting in our HR Department for a Learning Coordination Team Leader based in Market Drayton. The role will develop and lead a Learning Administrator, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of learning coordination activity within the employee life cycle. And also enabling future growth and high volume capability across the UK.

Your challenge

• Act as key interface between the Learning Coordination team and the rest of the Learning & Development team, holding regular reviews to discuss KPIs, future demand profile and to identify and address any issues/ pinch points

• Ensure timely & consistent delivery of quality learning coordination activity within the employee life cycle and business driven learning & development demand

• Continually build customer relationships by pro actively responding to 'Dissatisfied' requests in area of responsibility

• Promote continuous improvement by challenging the 'status quo', seeking and recommending improved ways of working within the Learning Coordination team

• Anticipate 'peaks' in workload and 'flex' resource accordingly to meet business deliverables

• Keep up to date with current HR legislation and initiatives

• Recruitment & Selection activity for Learning Coordination team when required, ensuring delivery of service

• Build and maintain successful relationships with all internal and external stakeholders

• Lead a team of Learning Coordinators, ensuring competency in knowledge, systems and confidence in role

• Act as point of escalation for Learning Coordinators, ensuring timely & effective issue resolution, escalating to HR SS Lead if required

• Ensure team members deliver activity to agreed SLAs and KPIs

• Manage and support personal development & performance via weekly catch ups, monthly 121s & PDPs

• Complete Line Manager responsibilities including managing holidays & absence, performance management and flexible working

• Identify team training requirements and coordinate training plans with other HR departments enabling up-skilling within the team

• Continuously promote Learning & Development and the wider HR function ensuring consistency

• Actively promote a 'right first time' approach

• Completing audit and compliance checks

• Acting as 'gate keeper' for controlled document library

• Ensure governance & compliance of HR data through the use of document management system

• Complete appropriate system updates, rectifying anomalies and adopting a 'lessons learned' approach

• Complete compliance checks for external auditors within specified deadlines for area of responsibility

• Support the delivery of the HR strategy by owning & driving elements of the L&D Plan

• Support the wider HR team with key project delivery in line with individual time frames

• Review and align Learning Coordination processes & procedures, acting as technical experts within the project and implementation team

Key skills & experience

• > 2 years in an L&D administrative role

• English / Maths GCSE's grade C or above

• Ideally relevant TAP or L&D Administration qualifications

• High attention to detail and levels of accuracy

• Project Management experience

• Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment

• Previous reporting experience with excellent analytical skills

• High level of IT skills including MS Office Excel, Power Point and Word

• Ability to 'think outside the box' when under pressure

• Experience of managing a team previously is desirable but not essential
