We're Recruiting Apprentice HGV Mechanics :
To gain training and qualifications to become a valued member of the Fleet Team based at our Amesbury Depot.
Key Responsibilities:
Take instruction from a nominated mentor at External and internal Training.
Attend Recognised Courses
To follow instructions issued by the company and its authorized representatives.
To work to the best of his/her ability at all times.
To respect the property of the company for which the company is responsible or which is in their care.
To take an active part in any of the Companies Health &Safety or Environmental Initiatives
Be aware and Follow company Attendance Management Procedure
To assist in general housekeeping duties required within the fleet engineering Department.
To Maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the working area and a presentable personal appearance.
To report any Broken or Faulty Equipment to your Supervisor/Manager
To use the proper PPE for required Tasks
Challenges:
To become a fully qualified Skilled Mechanic
To be fully committed to all aspects of internal and external training
To understand how maintaining the fleet fits in with DVSA and legal Compliance requirements.
Pass college assessments and Exams to above average Standards
Show progress in external and internal training in line with expectations as the traing progresses.
