We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Payments and Treasury Accountant to join the finance team at our support centre in Bradford.
Reporting to the Finance Manager for Accounting, Control & Payments you will ensure accurate and efficient processing of both supplier payments & Group Treasury transactions.

Here at Morrisons our Payments and Treasury Accountants do the following;

· Manage & develop the Payments & Treasury back office team; Coordinate offshore activities, control the supplier payments, manage the onshore team and full responsibility for the operation of the Treasury back office
· Specifically monitor compliance against Treasury contractual obligations
· Manage team activities to meet our internal timetable for accounting, reporting, & GSCOP commitments to suppliers
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient processing of payments & treasury transactions
· Manage stakeholders, develop systems, processes and controls within Morrisons to meet best practice

What skills and qualifications do I need to be a successful Payments and Treasury Accountant;

· Strong background in a similar role
· Qualified CCAB accountant beneficial but not essential
· Advanced knowledge of Excel including data manipulation and analysis
· A keen interest, or knowledge of treasury management, treasury technology and internal controls
· Strong project management skills
