We are currently recruiting Engineer Apprentices at our Rathbones bakery in Wakefield. Rathbones (Morrisons) are going through some exciting times with ambitious plans for growth. Our current production which is - 5 existing plants will soon to rise to 7 plants. We currently produce 1,200,000 sliced loaves, 1,000,000 baguettes, 2,000,000 rolls, 600,000 muffins per week!! We have over approx 40SKUs and we are the only bakery in the Morrisons world. Morrisons is much, much more than a big food retailer. We're also the UK's second largest fresh food manufacturer and it's the job of our engineering team to keep things running efficiently behind the scenes.

You'll get right into the action in a paid job while we support you in obtaining a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance

Lasting 4 years, our Apprenticeship programme is the ideal springboard for an exciting career in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing. Offering a unique combination of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering maintenance alongside food safety, compliance and processing.

Training will be provided by Midland Group Training Services at Reaseheath College in Cheshire; one of the UK's leading land based colleges.

To apply you'll need to be aged 16+ and have achieved or be predicted a GCSE Level 6 (Grade B) in Maths, Level 5 (Grade C) in Science and Level 5 (Grade C) in English.
