ENGINEER APPRENTICESHIPS (MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE) - MORRISONS MANUFACTURING SITES - COMPETITIVE + EXCELLENT BENEFITS
We are currently recruiting Engineering Apprentices for our manufacturing operation at Woodheads in Spalding. Woodheads Spalding was re-developed in 2008 covering 164,000 sq ft on 7.5 acres of land. They have 780 colleagues and run a 5 day operation. They supply stores, Farmers Boy with raw materials to produce a full range of butchery products including materials for sausage, pies and cooked meats. Morrisons is much, much more than a big food retailer. We're also the UK's second largest fresh food manufacturer and it's the job of our engineering team to keep things running efficiently behind the scenes. This is a great place to develop your technical skills and learn to become a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
You'll get right into the action in a paid job while we support you in obtaining a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance
Lasting 4 years, our Apprenticeship programme is the ideal springboard for an exciting career in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing. Offering a unique combination of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering maintenance alongside food safety, compliance and processing.
Training will be provided by Midland Group Training Services at Reaseheath College in Cheshire; one of the UK's leading land based colleges.
To apply you'll need to be aged 16+ and have achieved or be predicted a GCSE Level 6 (Grade B) in Maths, Level 5 (Grade C) in Science and Level 5 (Grade C) in English.
