ENGINEER APPRENTICESHIPS (MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE) - MORRISONS MANUFACTURING SITES - COMPETITIVE + EXCELLENT BENEFITS

We are currently recruiting Engineer Apprentices for our manufacturing operation at our International Seafood’s site in Grimsby. Morrisons is much, much more than a big food retailer. We're also the UK's second largest fresh food manufacturer and it's the job of our engineering team to keep things running efficiently behind the scenes. Morrisons commenced in-house fish processing in 2012 now operating across 2 sites Pegasus Way and Lakeside. We now employ over 700 colleagues across the 2 sites. At our Lakeside site we manufacture 28 million packs of pre pack fish including hot smoked salmon, cold smoked salmon, mackerel, ready to eat wet fish and added value fish line. As well as 1,812 tonnes of shellfish, surimi and mussels.

You'll get right into the action in a paid job while we support you in obtaining a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance

Lasting 4 years, our Apprenticeship programme is the ideal springboard for an exciting career in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing. Offering a unique combination of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering maintenance alongside food safety, compliance and processing.

Training will be provided by Midland Group Training Services at Reaseheath College in Cheshire; one of the UK's leading land based colleges.

To apply you'll need to be aged 16+ and have achieved or be predicted a GCSE Level 6 (Grade B) in Maths, Level 5 (Grade C) in Science and Level 5 (Grade C) in English.
