Institutional Corporate Technology (ICT)

Institutional Corporate Technology (ICT) is part of Technology. This group is responsible for developing enterprise applications for a diverse set of businesses including Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, and Global Capital Markets. In addition, ICT provides technology solutions for client-aligned groups and company-wide divisions, such as Finance and Operations, post-trade functions within the Institutional Securities Group and standardized data and enterprise-wide services to provide leverage to the Firm's businesses.

Position Description

The FX technology team develops a range of applications and services covering market making, trading, trade processing and risk management for the FX business. The team is poised for growth and expansion, and looking for talented developers to work on the FX Options front office system, a fast-moving and real-time environment with performance requirements that makes development an exciting challenge.

The candidate will focus on the development and enhancements of risk applications, integration with core trade capture/processing systems as well as cross-divisional systems. The projects will initially encompass the renovation of FX Options risk infrastructure for the increasing trading volume and product range, for which the role has responsibility in each phase of the development life cycle from analysis and design to implementation and testing.

The successful candidate must have excellent theoretical and practical development knowledge and strong understanding of distributed architecture. The candidate must be a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player, with the ability to function with light supervision and deliver quality solutions to the business. Good communication skills are required for the interaction with internal clients including trading, sales, quants and operations groups, as well as with colleagues in New York, London and Shanghai.

Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and distributed architecture.
