The primary purpose of the HR Co-ordinator is to support the Human Resource Manager ( HRM) and provide accurate and timely HR Administration and HR support to factory based employees and managers.
The HR Plant coordinator will support all HR process to include but not limited to ;
· Recruitment and selection
· Training Administration
· Labour Relations & Employment Law
· Attendance Managment
· People Movement
· General Administration, reporting and data management
The support should be in line with Local agreements and leglisative requirements. The role will also be a key local point of contact to liase with the Managed Business Services( MBS) teams.
Main Responsibilities :
Bridge With Manageed Business Services ( MBS)
· The role is the interface between line managers and blue collar employees and MBS HR, providing upfront guidance on policies and procedures to ensure only approved, requests are passed to MBS HR. The role manages plant specific HR administrative cases with MBS HR in line with process standards.
· For non-plant specific processes:
· Refer line managers and (connect) employees to the intranet and employee centre and/or the correct point of contact to build the ability to self-serve for policies, forms and contacting MBS for direct support.
· Provide advice to line managers and employees on HR Admin processes including explanation of the policy and practices including collective agreements where applicable
· Develop specialist knowledge of practical Employment Law relevant for plant workforce
HR Administrative Processes
· Provide high-quality, timely, and professional customer service to customers (blue collar employee & line managers) in responding to queries, advising on policies and procedures and managing HR admin processes, linking to MBS as required for system changes.
· Initiate and track iRequests in HR iRequest and follow through to ensure each case is resolved to ensure SLAs can be measured and improved
· Input accurate information into case management to enable near-shore MBS team to maintain SHARP OM (organization management) and employee data in line with country, regional and global data (SHARP PA) requirements so that the system data always enables accurate reporting and data accuracy achieves 99% or above for audit.
· Manage data gathering to provide accurate and timely instructions to payroll e.g. for local terms and conditions such as overtime, shift allowances, first aid payments, banked hours etc.
· These accountabilities may include Plant specific production of letters, updating of local spreadsheets and systems
Recruitment & On-boarding
· Administer recruiting process (For hourly paid) in compliance with global standard process and local legal requirements. This includes checking requisitions, posting roles, supporting the selection process, Aptitude testing, updating systems, managing interview logistics, managing pre-screening; making verbal and/or written offers, organising local recruiting events e.g. assessment centres
· Support local apprentice/internship program
Training and Learning and Development Support
· Responsible for liasing with 3rd party Training providers to privded relevant Compliance traiing as identified by the Quality, Enviornmental Health and Safety Team.

· Support local hard copy training records retention / hard copy training records management as required
Attendance Management
· Drive Attendance Management by running local reports, liaise with Occupational Health, advise managers of triggers, and management of the lates and absence procedure
HR Reporting and Data
· Accountable for the provision of reports as required by the HR Manager.
· Data verification prior to YE comp planning cycle e.g. MIP and Merit
· Execute key activities around local bonus system – calculations/data to payroll etc. as required
Controls and Compliance
· Ensure Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and MDLZ compliance for HR standards and processes, e.g., data protection.
Support of local labour relations activity alongside the HRM
· Support HRM on union meetings – preparation and management of meeting inputs and outputs
· Maintain and update plant policies and agreements
· Support HRM with labour relations cases – including documentation/ note taking
· Respond to inquiries and requests for information from local agencies and 3rd parties, where required locally and authorized by the local plant HR Manager
Support of HRM to Achieve overall HR accountabilities at plant level
· Support HR managers with the administration note-taking for disciplinary meetings, grievances and collective consultation
· Support HR Manager in areas of reorganization and restructure
· Support HRM with local HR engagement activities e.g unleashment surveys
· Support HRM with local communications processes
· Support and share continuous improvement opportunities within own role and work with others on broader plant Contineous Improvement projects if applicable
· Work on plant based projects e.g. preparing for Sedex audit
· Support with collating and sending communications as agreed with the MBS compensation and benefits team.
· Support the HRM with the management of the Occupational Health department

Preferred:
· Highly preferable Degree or Diploma in HR
· Technically competent in operating through a HR system (e.g SAP HR ) or equivalent.
· Manufacturing operations experience
