Sr Software Engineer - Android

Office 365 was the fastest business in Microsoft to reach $1B revenue and this growth has continued with sustained triple digit YoY growth as customers’ transition from boxed software to the cloud. We already have 200+ million users in our service in every worldwide geo, with a significant influx of users’ onboarding every month across EDU, small, medium, large and governmental organizations across the world. And this user base will grow more than 1B with the upcoming outlook.com convergence. Our strategy is simple: push hard into the frontier of cloud services  

We are looking for a Mobile Developer to join us. If you fit the job description below, we want to talk to you.   Responsibilities:  

* Architect and build Android apps that will be the mobile face of our company.

* Make technology and design decisions to deliver a fast, secure and insanely usable app.

* Work with the server team to define needs and APIs that will provide the best user experience.

* Create beautiful UI and intuitive UX that will delight users.

Desired profile

Qualifications:

* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent. .

* Excellent skills in design, debugging and problem solving.

* Expert level Java and experience with Android internals.

* Someone who knows every trick about memory/battery efficiency and is able to optimize for performance.

* Familiarity with using native code in Android App is a plus.

* Strong UI/design skill experience is a plus.
