The Spartans team is part of the Artificial Intelligence Core group at Microsoft, and it is looking for premier software engineers. We are a team of elite engineers with experience in the scalable online technologies. We take on very high impact and valuable work and use our experience to quickly deliver it. There is never a dull project in our portfolio, we are simply always working on the most strategic areas of Bing.

The Artificial Intelligence Core group is right in the center of that vision, being the brains behind Bing, Bing Ads and Cortana. While experience with the Bing stack would be beneficial, the team is willing to invest in ramping up and improving your skills!    

Required qualifications/experience:   2+ year experience working as a software engineer   You can code in either C# or C++ or Java   You can demonstrate strong software design skills   You have strong analytical skills, cultivate positive relationships, and has clear communication and coordination skills   Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field required    

Additional qualifications/experience preferred:   Experience with OOP, TDD and agile development models   Experience with Microsoft Azure services is highly desirable   Experience with SQL, NoSQL and Big Data technologies   Experience in implementing cross browser web applications   Experience building web services using ASP.NET (or similar technologies) and SDKs based on REST APIs, ODATA or JSON   Knowledge of Windows, iOS/OSX, Android app development   Machine learning model development experience   Experience with Bing technology stack
