Join the team that powers the entire calling and audio/video conferencing stack for Skype, Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams. If you decide to join this team, you will be responsible for every single line of code powering millions of calls every single day. You will have the opportunities to work on transforming calling and conferencing through newer scenarios in Skype through Translator, HoloLens, Internet of Things and delivering conferencing solutions for businesses via Microsoft Teams.

In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of enabling Skype calling experience for mobile, desktop and web based applications from design, development, quality, production, serviceability, telemetry and reliability. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced agile setup shipping weekly and with an awesome set of engineers and have fun along the way. Desired attributes and competencies include:

- Excellent technical problem solving, design, coding, communication and debugging skills

- Expertise in developing complex, client side software in C++, JavaScript/TypeScript

- Experience shipping products with web technologies like Angular, Node.JS is a big plus

- Experience with mobile and VoIP is a plus

- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms

- Proficiency in unit-testing and other validation techniques

- Ability to work closely with team members to collaborate on innovative solutions

- Self-driven, motivated, pro-active, results-oriented and ability to work with minimal direction

- Solid written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

- 2+ years of software development experience

- A BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field is required
