The Cortana Devices is a newly formed team that works on enabling rich Cortana experiences on a variety of devices like cars and speakers. We work closely with partners across the company to deliver the set of service-driven experiences which empower the user by providing truly assistive capabilities. We make user’s lives easier by helping them take action and stay in control of their busy lives, both at work and at home.

You will be joining a young team within Cortana - exploring territory on how Cortana can power devices to increase productivity.   Our team, at its core, values individual creativity and passion and is a place where we expect every developer to continually grow both technically, and personally.

In addition to working with peer developers, PM and designers, you will also engage closely with our device partners to understand how Cortana can be best enabled on a variety of devices.

We’re looking for smart, agile, and intellectually curious developers who love creating and building things that customers love, not to mention tinkering with all the latest cool devices and technologies. As a new team member joining on the ground floor of this team, you will have the opportunity to shape the culture and make significant impact in the rapidly growing emerging devices space for Microsoft.   We are looking for candidates of all levels.

The Core skills we are looking for are:

       Love for creating something out of nothing and solving problems

       Demonstrated passion for building great end-user experiences

       2+ Professional experience with at least one of C#/C/C++/Java

       BS degree in CS or related engineering field

       Excellent collaboration skills and ability to be adaptable and agile in development

       Outstanding communication skills and comfortable in front of customers
