Job description

Are you interested in building web applications, middle-tier and back-end infrastructure to enhance the state-of-art fraud detection system that protects Microsoft's billions of dollars in eCommerce transactions each year?   Are you excited about working with talented engineers and scientists on highly scalable and highly reliable online services as well as offline big data analytics and machine learning?  

The Universal Store Team is building the foundations to deliver commerce experiences to power One Microsoft Ecosystem. We enable individuals, organizations, developers, and partners to securely buy and sell worldwide. We are the Windows and Devices Group/Universal Store/Customer Knowledge Platform Core Services and Risk Engineering team. Our mission is to protect Microsoft by safeguarding Microsoft online transactions. Many of Microsoft's key businesses depend our services 24x7 today - Windows Store, Microsoft Store, XBox, Office 365, Azure, Windows Phone, Dynamics, Bing Ads and Microsoft Rewards are among them.     We are looking for a strong, motivated, results-oriented full-stack developer to help drive the design and implementation of the next generations of our Credit Review Service and related infrastructure.  

Skills & Qualifications:  

●Passion for User Interface and User Experience  

●Willingness to “take it apart and put it back to together”; if that’s what it takes to make it better and delight the user  

●Strong problem solving, software design, implementation, and debugging skills  

●Passion for new technologies, quality, customer satisfaction, and a metrics-driven approach to engineering excellence  

●Excellent communication and cross-boundary collaboration skills and desire and ability to enable others’ success  

●B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, math, physics, or engineering

Experience Required:  

●2+ years of developing software

Preferred Experience:

●Experience in several of the following technologies: C#, .NET, C++, Java, SQL Server, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, WCF, JSON, REST, Angular JS, jQuery, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net WebAPI  

●Experience shipping products over multiple development cycles
