Software Engineer, Microsoft HoloLens  

The era of holographic computing is here. We are creating the world's most advanced holographic computing platform, enabled by Windows 10. Our products incorporate ground-breaking technologies from the Holographic Processing Unit (HPU), to computer vision, machine learning, human-computer interaction, image and video processing, audio, speech recognition, networking and graphics. ROLE: We are looking for a Software Engineer to help deliver these market changing products. Be part of a software development team that embraces the latest engineering practices and is working on cutting-edge technologies. This team is constantly faced with complex problems, from client/server networking and audio/speech processing to computer vision and machine learning.

Desired profile

QUALIFICATIONS:

-The ideal candidate will have solid academic and/or corporate software engineering background.

-Industry or other practical experience highly desirable.

-Proven ability to independently address issues ranging from fundamental algorithm development/implementation/optimization/testing to driving eventual product outcomes.

-Should be able to assume technical leadership while making significant individual contributions.

-Formal managerial role or experience is not required.

-Degree in computer science, computer graphics, or related technical field.

-Computer vision and working knowledge of modern graphic APIs desirable.
