Poste et missions:
BI Operations Strategy team is composed of employees only based in Lyon. As part of BI Global Industrial Operations, the team works closely with all their Industrial Operations counterparts (project teams, sites…) to define and execute BI Operations Strategy.
One of the key mission of the Operations Strategy team is to work closely with the species under the umbrella of the Global Commercial Development organization. The strategy team needs to ensure a close and permanent link with the species to make sure Industrial Operations strategy answers to all the
business needs.
As the species head are located both in Europe and in the USA, the Operations Strategy team needs a local contact in the USA to play a key role of focal point to make the link with :
- The species, collecting the needs and requests, and sharing the industrial strategy guiding principles
- The sites, to better align the site strategic intent with the global industrial strategy and to aligning and engaging US-based organization on global Operations initiatives, including Digital Strategy
The VIE acts as a key point of contact with the 4 species in the US, acting as US relays for Operations franchise entry points:
- Capture the business needs, sharing the industrial guiding principles, escalating the questions as necessary.
- Support the sites based in the USA to formalize and execute the strategic initiatives set by the Global Operations Strategy team or driven locally by the industrial sites.
- Coordinate on-demand or ad-hoc strategic analysis for US sites on request
- Relay the digital engagement global initiatives in the USA by acting as a focal point for both Global Operations strategy team and sites locally. Coordinates in collaboration with the digital teams and IS the digital pilot initiatives.
- Support digital business intelligence by looking for opportunities & emerging technologies that could be important strategic assets for BI strategy and performance.
Profil:
Engineering degree, ideally with Master in Business Management
Keen on the digital revolution
Industrial shop floor experience and orientation or marketing background with industrial orientation
An experience in Business Strategy is a plus
An experience in Digital is a plus
Ability to interact transversally, within a matrix organization, at all levels of the organization, good understanding of the complexity of the business and organisation, digitally oriented
