Your Role:

As the Warehouse Operator II with EMD Electronics, your role will be to follow site SOP’s and relevant WI’s for the expedient and accurate handling of raw materials and/or finished products into and out of the Branchburg warehouse facility.


·  Receive inbound materials, verify packing slip, notate any discrepancies
·  Perform the goods receipt and labeling utilizing the SAP ERP system then put away materials into rack storage utilizing forklifts
·  Pick materials requested by the Production department and deliver to the appropriate area
·  Perform inventory control through cycle counting, including the annual physical inventory utilizing SAP ERP system
·  Prepare finished goods from the Production department to transport to the finished goods warehouse complying with all DOT/IATA regulations
·  Assist with packaging and shipping of lab orders and customer samples complying with all DOT/IATA regulations
·  Generate purchase order requisitions for required supplies
·  Generate monthly NJ spill tax report per regulatory requirements
·  Download monthly warehouse temperature monitoring devices
·  Actively engage in warehouse 5S housekeeping (system for organizing so work can be performed efficiently, effectively, and safely)
·  Works safely and utilize all necessary PPE, complies with site ESHA policies and procedures and participates in Safety audits
·  Appropriately escalate any potential safety or quality concern


 Physical Attributes:

·  Wear personal protection equipment "PPE" including safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes
·  Work both indoor and outdoor, with exposure to weather elements
·  Push/pull materials up to 50 lbs


Who you are:

Basic Qualifications:

·  High School Diploma or GED equivalent
·  1+ years of working experience in a warehouse
·  1+ years of forklift operating experience


Preferred Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
·  SAP experience preferred
·  Microsoft Office and Outlook experience
·  DOT/IATA shipping experience
·  Self-directed with leadership skills
·  Effective verbal and written communication skills
·  Basic mathematical skills
·  Ability to understand written Work Instruction
