Technology Manager Downstream Purification

Your Role:

We are seeking a field-based Technology Manager, with strong experience in downstream purification operations, with an emphasis on Clarification and Tangential Flow Filtration. The position will work with the local Sales and Process Development Scientist teams to support customer opportunities in the western United States. You will be responsible to contribute to new product launch strategies and provide product application adoption support to the commercial accounts.  You will be expected to contribute to and implement downstream purification Go-To-Market strategies and create insightful win/loss analyses.  This person will partner with the Commercial Sales and Technical & Scientific Service teams to support customer opportunities. The candidate is expected to develop an in-depth understanding of market trends and needs and to communicate the “voice of the customer’ to the internal organization. Domestic travel approximately 30% to customer locations within California and the Western US.

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

·  A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
·  5+ years hands-on downstream purification experience in the biopharma industry. 
·  3+ years of direct experience with development and implementation of Clarification and Tangential Flow Filtration unit operations.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Strong customer and sales orientation
·  Demonstrated ability to establish strong partnerships with internal and external partners.
·  Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively to diverse audiences through both written and oral communications.
